Layton Homes is an award-winning custom home builder located in the industrial estate of New Gisborne. We’ve never built the same house twice and we don’t believe in cookie-cutter designs. You’re unique, and your home should be too. Whatever you want to create, we work with you to make it a reality.
Over the last 25 years, we’ve built and renovated homes (and even some offices) primarily within Macedon Ranges and surrounds. Over this time, we’ve established a revered reputation and connection with our clients and community.

We understand that you don’t want to just pick a pre-designed home, you want to create your home. No one enjoys limited choices long timelines, feeling like you have no control and don’t know what’s going on. We felt a gap in the market, and we thought better could be offered, so we stepped up to offer it.
WHO WE ARE
Behind the business is Ian Layton. Ian has over 30 years experience in the building industry and is a long-time resident of the Macedon Ranges. A member of the HIA, Ian is a registered building practitioner who takes pride in the quality of his homes and the client experience throughout the process. As part of this, Ian ensures he employs highly skilled and qualified tradesman who uphold these high standards.
In addition to the Layton Homes team, to complete our builds we work with a trusted network of other local companies to coordinate all elements of a home - such as brickwork, cabinetry, staircases, roofing, window furnishing, garage doors and more.
